Sales Policies
Prices are subject to change without notice.

Deposits
An initial deposit will be required on all manufactured materials. Pre-payment in full will be required on all special delivery items.

Returns
All items returned to Steel Depot are subject to a standard restocking charge that is determined by Steel Depot based on condition of the material and its suitability for resale. All returns must be accompanied by an invoice. Special trim will have no return value. Standard trim will have reject value only. Special Orders can only be returned at Steel Depot’s discretion.

Storage Policy
Steel Depot has limited storage space and can store custom fabricated materials for only a reasonable amount of time. After this, notice will be sent that material must be either picked up or delivered within 10 days, or it will be placed in stock with the deposit forfeited and/or a restocking charge imposed.

Shipping
Although Steel Depot will make every effort to meet requested shipping dates, we assume no responsibility for damages or loss of any kind sustained by customer because of any unforeseen inability to meet shipping dates. Please allow as much shipping time as possible.

Telephone Orders
Customer will assume full responsibility for accuracy of all telephone orders if written confirmation is not received prior to release of the order for manufacturing. Customer may request written confirmation, with the understanding that the manufacturing process will be delayed.

Cancellations
Any cancellation of a manufactured order, after production has begun, will be subject to restocking charges.

Packaging Charges
All trim orders, set for delivery, will be wrapped in protective foam material at no additional cost. If cardboard shipping boxes are required or requested, there will be a $10.00 charge per box added to the order. Cover sheets will be placed on all bundles of #1 painted sheets at an additional cost of $10.00 per bundle up to 15′ in length and $20.00 per bundle over 15′ in length. Individual bundle weight will not exceed 3000lbs.

Delivery Options
Steel Depot offers two delivery options:

• Direct Delivery provides the most accurate, convenient service. Orders will be delivered on either a Steel Depot truck or by common carrier. Exact delivery dates can be scheduled in advance. Fee is determined on a per mile basis from Steel Depot’s shipping point to the customer’s job site.
• Drop Delivery provides the greatest economy. Multiple orders will be loaded and shipped together on a Steel Depot truck in order to minimize shipping costs per individual order. Fee is based on a minimum charge by zone. Although the exact delivery dates cannot be determined in advance, a delivery date range will be established prior to shipping. With multiple orders shipped together on one trailer, unloading might require extra material handling.

Note: It is the responsibility of the customer to be prepared with necessary manpower and/or equipment to receive materials delivered by Steel Depot.

Protecting Material After Delivery
Steel Depot takes every precaution to deliver your material in excellent condition. Any shipping damage should be noted with the driver. Steel Depot cannot be responsible for storage or handling damage to material after delivery. The customer should follow recommended storage procedures.
